Run Atlanta’s Best 5k

We are back in person this year with the same great course starting in the Historic Old Fourth Ward park and running through the historic neighborhood of O4W. Join us in person or run with us from afar with the virtual option.

The Foundation

The Hope-Hill Elementary Foundation was organized in 2014 by a group of neighborhood parents and community leaders to support Hope-Hill Elementary School, a pre-kindergarten through fifth grade traditional public school in the Old Fourth Ward. The Foundation's mission is to support learning for students and professional development and support for teachers at Hope-Hill.

The School

The Hope-Hill Elementary Foundation is a section 501(c)(3) organization exclusively supporting Hope-Hill Elementary School, the traditional public school serving the children of the Old Fourth Ward. Hope-Hill educates more than 430 students from pre-K through 5th grade.

“We must get beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths ...

and tell the world the glories of our journey.”

History

The foundation is directed by a team of volunteer community members to supply additional resources to the school to help provide these children with the education necessary to overcome these obstacles. Over the past few years the Foundation assisted Hope-Hill by providing total re-imagination of the classrooms into STEM learning spaces, professional development for teachers, annual funding for the PTA, providing enrichment opportunities for our students, and much more!
